Sapphire
Mojo

Find me at the Fredericksburg SPCA!
Smart and Sassy, this girl is an absolute GEM! Sapphire is very treat-motivated, which means she’s very trainable! In fact, she already knows the basics like, “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “come!” With brains AND beauty, the only thing Sapphire needs is the perfect family who will shower her with love (and treats), and who loves adventure just as much as she does. Nice long walks, play sessions, and treat-heavy training sessions are Sapphire’s favorite ways to spend her time, but after being active- there’s nothing Sapphire loves more than finding a soft place to lie down for a good nap, or cuddle session with her people! If you're looking to add some sparkle to your life, you won't do better than this jewel! Head down to the SPCA, and meet this high-value girl! We promise, her love will appraise for double!

Meet Mojo!
Mojo is a sweet, funny, and highly intelligent girl who’s ready to find her forever family. She may come off a little shy or awkward at first, but once she warms up, her loyal and affectionate personality shines through.
✨ The Best of Mojo:
● Great with kids, dogs, cats, horses, and even birds — she seems to love all creatures big and small
● Very smart and eager to learn — already knows sit, stay, come, down, and paw
● Quiet and well-mannered — mostly silent unless she’s inviting play or alerting to a new presence
● Affectionate — loves snuggling, giving gentle kisses, and following her people from room to room
● Walks well on leash — some pulling, but frequently checks in with you and takes direction
● Fantastic with other dogs — adapts to their play style, whether playful or more reserved
● Tolerates baths well and rides calmly in the car
● Athletic and agile — easily hops baby gates and has a quirky fascination with cleaning robots and small wheeled objects
⚡ What She’s Working On:
● Counter-surfing and trash raiding — Mojo is clever, determined, and very food-motivated
● Separation anxiety — she has pulled off some impressive crate escapes when left alone too long
● Stranger danger — takes time to warm up to new people, but with patience and space, she becomes a total lovebug
● Needs guidance when people run past her on walks — she looks to her handler for reassurance and correction
Mojo is a loving, loyal companion who thrives in a home with structure, patience, and company. She’s come such a long way and will continue to blossom with a family who appreciates her intelligence, affection, and one-of-a-kind personality.
